The Festival will take place June 2014 in several settlements of Smolyan Municipality. The Festival agenda includes botanical tours, workshops with application of local plant species, workshops in traditional and applied crafts for different age groups, presentation of local communities folklore, and a 2-day mountain biking tour across floristically significant areas in the Rhodope Mountains.
Festival visitors will have the opportunity to participate in preparing traditional food products
and dishes, to learn how to embroider traditional Rhodope slippers, to find out more about traditional for the region technologies for making dairy products and to buy locally grown produce and locally made food directly from producers during the bazaar of Rhodope Green Foods. The series of workshops in traditional music, singing and dancing will add to the colorful experience of visitors to the Festival.
